Spike Burrows was raised on a ranch NE of Kim, Colorado where his experiences had a great influence on his art. He began in 1991 as a self-taught artist, drawing from many of his life's experiences. Soon he began mentorships with various artists such as Steve Houston, New Master's Academy of art and became a lifetime member. of NMA Also studying under Bill Innman, Muncie, Indiana and Robert Hagan of Thailand/Australia. His paintings are in different collections across the United States, as well as several foreign countries. He coaches several artists out of his home on a weekly basis Spike believes that everyone can create objects of art, they just have to try and try again, while learning from true critique.

Allan McConnell began taking photographs at about age 8 and has continued his love of photography throughout his life. He has visited six continents to gather his photos and plans to see the seventh this year. His photographs are featured in galleries throughout the state and have won many prestigious awards. He’s been juried into exhibits in the Salmagundi Club in New York City, the oldest professional art organization in the country, as well as the Hilton Head Invitational Photography show.
Allan twice had solo exhibits at the Sangre de Cristo Art Center. He has published two photography books, Painting With Light and Safari. He began judging both amateur and professional photography exhibits 15 years ago and has juried shows throughout Colorado plus a statewide Kansas exhibit.
